GPRBA RBF Case Study Sanitation Ghana

This case study is part of a series to highlight project components that have enabled GPRBA to successfully deploy results-based finance (RBF) approaches for the provision of basic services to low-income communities,with efficiency, transparency and accountability. This analysis is focused on the Output-Based Aid Urban Sanitation Facility for the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA) project in Ghana. The objective was to increase access to improved sanitation for people living in low-income communities in the GAMA. Through the construction of in-house sanitation facilities and the provision of desludging services, the project benefitted more than 180,942 people.
